Marmorières vineyard is located 10 km from the Mediterranean Sea. It is turned towards the East and fully receives the maritime freshness as well as a very important sunshine. The estate is certified “High Environmental Value” and is part of the Dephy Ecophyto network. The plots are planted on clay-limestone soils from the Cretaceous with the presence of gravel on the foothills.
The grapes are picked when ripe after tasting the berries depending on the grape variety. The harvest is destemmed and the presses are isolated according to their qualities. After settling by flotation, the wines are vinified in stainless steel vats at low temperature (13°) for ideal aroma development.
This Chardonnay presents a complex nose of white peach, exotic fruits, and toasted brioche. The palate, well-balanced and ample, confirms this aromatic richness with an intense softness revealing white flowers and citrus notes.
Served between 10 and 13°C, this wine will pair well as an aperitif with seafood, grilled fish and salads.
