Marmorières has been the property of the Woillemont family since 1826. Surrounded by pine forests, scrubland and woods, the twenty grape varieties that make up the vineyard enjoy a mosaic of mainly clay-limestone soils on a drop of 100m for 350 hectares. Marmorières benefits from an exceptional climate thanks to a very high level of sunshine and a maritime influence which tempers the semi-arid summer heat. The vineyard allows a slow maturation of the berries thanks to the depth of its soils and its full eastern exposure.

The best Bourboulenc vines are isolated and selected. The grapes are then sorted, destemmed and vinified in French oak barrels after settling by flotation. The wines are then stirred for two months. Very careful work with a minimum of interventions reveals all the freshness and minerality of this terroir, which has been renowned for several millennia.
